Mental health challenges SUCK, yes you heard me right they suck!
I am very emotional right now and thought it might be the worst time to write a post, but you know what? It’s the best time to talk about a subject that needs to be talked about.
Mental health issues, anxiety, depression, the black dog or whatever you want to call it impacts every part of our lives every day. Not a day goes by where we don’t see the news of someone taking their life…a soldier, a celebrity, a sports person, a young child, and there are countless others every day we never hear about. And why? THEY DON’T WANT TO DIE THEY JUST DON’T KNOW HOW TO LIVE.
I was going to make this address on the charity night and I will but need to send this message now – SUICIDE IS NOT A SELFISH ACT! You don’t want to die but you just don’t know how to live!
Chad Robinson didn’t want to hurt his family and his friends; he just didn’t know how to cope with tomorrow. I am so glad we chose the Chad Robinson Foundation (I wish it never existed) but it does, so let’s make Chad’s passing not be in vain.
